The “Pravda” says that the Germans, after transferring fresh storm troops from Norway and infantry from Yugoslavia and Hungary to Karelia, began an offensive in the Kestenga area on November 1. They were making frenzied attempts to advance eastwards on November 6 and 7 towards the railway and highway. Russian troops are holding them and destroying one unit after another. They have killed 2500 in the past few days.
