FAILURE TO DO DAMAGE AT TOBRUK. ' FRONTIER PATROLLING. (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, November 9. A British General Headquarters Cairo communique states: “On the night of November 7, a few incendiary bombs were dropped on the harbour of Tobruk, without causing damage. “In the frontier area enemy counterpatrolling activities have somewhat increased. Nevertheless our patrols during the night of November 7, successfully attacked all their tasks without suffering casualties.”
