PERSONAL ITEMS

Miss A. Brown, of Essex Street, Masterton, is visiting Eastbourne. Mrs K. Maidens, of Pahiatua, is spending a holiday at Foxton. Mrs H. Larsen, of Raratonga, is the guest of Mrs G. Scorgie, Pahiatua. Mrs J. Bldin, Essex Street, Masterton, is spending a holiday in New Plymouth.

Mr and Mrs R. J. T. Scott will leave Pongaroa very shortly. Both have been keenly interested in the welfare of the district as well as being active members of the Presbyterian Church. Mrs Scott has been a valued member of St. Andrew’s Ladies’ Guild and secretary to the Pongaroa. Women’s Institute during tpe past year. Recently she was presented with two dainty cup, saucer and plate sets from the guild and an ornamental jug-vase from the lattereach as a token of appreciation.
