DEATH OF AIR MARSHAL ( BALBO KILLED BY ITALIAN BULLET. BRITISH OFFICIAL REPORT. LONDON, November 7. An official message from the R.A.F. headquarters in the Midle East states that Air Marshal Balbo, Italian Governor-General of Libya was killed in June last year by the fire of, Italian guns. Balbo was making a flight over Libya when a surprise raid was made by British planes. This caused the Italian guns to open fire. Several Italian planes as well as the British machines were fired at and Balbo was killed by an Italian bullet.
