SHIPPING RATES REDUCED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, November 4. Reductions in the rates of war risk on shipping are: Between Australasia and Aden and the Red Sea, excluding Suez, from 100 s to 80s per £100; between Australasia and the Straits Settlements, Malaya and the Dutch East Indies, from 60s to 30s per £lOO. Advices received locally indicate that war rates between New Zealand and the following places have been amended as follows; —To or from North, Central, and South America—via Panama, 30s per cent, via Pacific, 25s per cent. To or from Persian Gulf, 40s per cent. To or.from Straits Settlements, Malaya, Dutch East Indies, and Borneo, 30s per cent. To or from Haifa, 150 s per cent. To or from Aden, Red Sea (excluding Suez), 80s per cent.
