AN IMPROVING OUTLOOK STATEMENT BY SIR E. PAGE. FOLLOWING CONVERSATIONS IN BRITAIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, November 4. After conversations with Lord Leathers (Minister of War Transport), Sir Earle Page announced that Australia’s and New Zealand’s export shipping prospects were better than they were five or six months ago. Australia and New Zealand should be able to ship most of the meat intended for export next year. Shipments probably would be better than those of last year. The Ministry of Food has announced the completion of contracts with Argentina, Uruguay, New Zealand and Australia for one million tons of meat.
