REGENT THEATRE

“FLIGHT COMMAND.” One of the most interesting dramas of its kind ever brought to the screen is “Flight Command,” which will be presented tonight at the Regent Theatre. It tells a story of the war conditions today and there is not a dull moment in a thrilling drama that will appeal to all. 'ln many of the air pictures shown on the screen there is a monotonous succession of stereotyped events which bring only boredom to patrons. Such, however, is not the case in “Flight Command.” The story is off the beaten track and the acting as well as the theme of the story is of a very high standard. It is a picture that patrons should not fail to see as it contains a strong patriotic flavour and should thrill the audience with its fast-moving scenes. The leading role is taken by that brilliant actor, Robert Taylor, who has strong support in a cast which includes Ruth Hussey, Walter Pidgcon, Paul Kelly and Nat Pendleton. Taylor gives one of the most realistic presentations of his career in a part which suits him admirably, while Ruth Hussey is most charming in a role which appears to have been made especially for her. The acting of these two alone bring the picture up to a particularly high standard of excellence. There is a splendid supporting programme containing many topical subjects.
