RANGITIKEI RACES HAPPY ENDING SUCCESSFUL. STAR ZONE WINS SPRINT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BULLS, November’ 1. The principal event at the Rangitikei spring meeting at Bulls on Saturday was won by the New Zealand Cup candidate Happy Ending, who ran up to his Trentham form and proved a little too good for the favourite, Kotua. Star Zone won the open six and paid a false price for a form competitor. The day was fine, but the course was very heavy.
