MASTERTON SOLDIERS

W.F.C.A. STAFF MEMBERS. TOKENS OF GOODWILL. Several further valedictory functions took place at the premises of the Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., Masterton, last week when Various staff members departing for service with the military forces were entertained and appropriately farewelled. Those departing for Palmerston North to serve with the Territorial force for the duration of the war were Messrs R. Harrington (furnishing factory), Aubrey Wainscott (display department), Gordon Stevenson (grocery), and E. L. Pye (office), while Gordon Colquhoun (furnishing department) proceeded to Featherston. In each instance a presentation was made of a suitable gift as a token of goodwill from the other members of the staff.
