WAR AND PEACE

A PUBLIC LECTURE. A public lecture on “War, Peace and the Future of the Race” will be given next Monday at the Opera House at 8 p.m. by Mr Geoffrey Hodson, an international lecturer and author, who is at present' on a visit to New Zealand. The Mayor will preside and a collection will be taken up in aid of the Patriotic Funds. Mr Hodson is an Englishman who fought in the last war, and is a noted lecturer on modern psychology and allied subjects. All interested in the welfare and progress of humanity should hear this'lecture. Mr Hodson is a man of vision who sees the Allied forces emerging successfully from the present struggle. Masterton rarely has an opportunity of hearing a lecturer of international repute who brings with him a cheering message.
