ACTIVITIES IN LIBYA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) RUGBY, October 29. A British headquarters Cairo communique states: “There was no hostile air activity during the night of October 27 at Tobruk. Enemy artillery fire increased during the night in the western and southern sectors, but no shelling was reported in the eastern sector. During the night an enemy, patrol, about twelve strong, approached one of our posts in the southern sector, but the patrol immediately scattered and withdrew upon being engaged. “In the frontier area enemy artillery again attempted to interfere with our patrol activity south-east of Solium.
