AT ISOLATIONIST RALLY. APPEAL TO MAYOR OF NEW YORK NEW YORK, October 26. Declaring that (violence .1 and bloodshed 'would result from the America First rally scheduled for New York on Thursday, three civic groups have appealed to the mayor, Mr La Guardia, to “stop this outrageous meeting from occurring.” The Taxpayers’ Union telegraphed Mr La Guardia, saying: “Observers at other America First meetings found in the audience notorious frontists, Nazis, hate-breeders, fascists and also traitors to our country.” Mr Charles Lindbergh, Senator Wheeler, and Mr J. Cudahy, former Ambassador to Belgium, are scheduled to speak at the rally.
