DELEGATION TO VISIT BRITAIN PLAN FOR COLLABORATION. EIGHT-POINT AGREEMENT. LONDON, October 26. Moscow announced this morning that a Russian trade union delegation would visit Britain to return the visit of the British delegation, which has left on its return journey. M'oscow added that an eight-point plan for collaboration had been reached at the recent joint meeting. The eight points were: (1) United action in the war; (2) complete support of the British and Russian Governments in the war against Hitler; (3) increased industrial efforts in both countries in the production of war weapons; (4) help in the supply of war materials from Britain to Russia; (5) the use of all means of propaganda against Hitlerism; (6) complete support for the peoples of the occupied countries and the restoration of their independence and democratic rights; (7) the organisation of mutual help and information by the unions of both countries; (8) the strengthening of personal contact between the unions. It was further stated that the Russian delegation would give all possible information about the fighting in Russia. t r CARGOES FOR RUSSIA AMERICAN STATEMENT CORRECTED. WASHINGTON, October 24. The Maritime Commission in a statement today said it was in error when it announced on October 22 that all Russian-aid cargoes from the United States would go from Boston to ArchI angel, and the announcement had been widely misinterpreted. The Commis- ! sion has recently taken steps to distribute the exportation of defence materials through several ports to avoid congestion. REFUGEE SHIPS INTERNED IN TURKISH PORTS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 25. The Istanbul correspondent of “The Times” says that a considerable number of Russian naval craft, especially of small tonnage, are arriving in Turkish ports on the Black Sea with refugees from Russian ports which the Germans have occupied. The Turks have instructed the port authorities to intern the ships. The correspondent does not indicate the reason why the Russian ships went to Turkey.
