The New Zealand Minister of Finance, Mr Nash, spent the week-end in conferences with Federal Ministers and Service chiefs on various aspects of his mission, but the discussions have not yet reached the stage at which any pronouncement will be made. Mr Nash will leave by train for Canberra tomorrow night after a continuation of the discussions. Tonight he delivered a national broadcast on New Zealand’s war effort. Tomorrow he will be entertained by the Lord Mayor, Mr Beaurepaire, at a luncheon.
