COMPULSORY BONUS
CANADIAN WAGE CONTROL SCHEME. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) OTTAWA, October 25. The Labour Minister, Mr McClarty, announced a new Order-in-Council extending to all Canadian industry the compulsory payment of bonuses to employees to cover the cost of living increases. Quarterly adjustments will be made. The Order prohibits wage increases, except those approved by the National War Labour Board. '
