COMPANY RETURNS. Austral-New Zealand Mining dredge, 14 days ended October 18: 363 ounces. Grey River dredge: 205 ounces from 95,333 cubic yards in 132 j hours, week ended October 22. British Developments (N.Z.), Limited, report that as the result of a slight mishap to the stacker, the Red Jacks dredge has not been working for several days, consequently no wash-up will occur this week. Repairs have been effected and the dredge will resume digging tomorrow. Gold from the bottom strata was making its appearance on the tables when the stoppage occurred. The Maori Gold return totalled 61 ounces for 119 hours from 9500 yards. The Waitahu return totalled 630 z. for 24 shifts, making a total of 1460 z. from No. 28 paddock.
