EKETAHUNA
OBITUARY MR W. F. TAYLOR. ("Times-Age” Special.) The death occurred this morning of a very well known and highly respected resident of Eketahuna in the person of Mr W. F. Taylor, secretarymanager of the Tararua Power Board. The late Mr Taylor, who was 72 years of age, had not been in the best of health for some time past. He was born in Birmingham, England, and came to New Zealand about forty years ago. Aftei’ residing in Dunedin for some years, he was appointed secretary-manager of the Tararua Power Board and came to Eketahuna, where he had lived for the past 20 years or so. He always took a keen interest in the affairs of the town and was a staunch supporter of the Anglican Church. The late Mr Taylor is survived by a widow, two sons, Mr W. D. Taylor (Greymouth), the other one residing in England, and by two daughters, Mesdames R. Boney (Wellington), and H. Smith (Eketahuna). There are seven grandchildren.
