COMPARATIVELY QUIET
SITUATION IN LIBYA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) RUGBY, October 24. A Cairo headquarters communique states: “In Libya, apart from some light enemy shelling of the harbour at Tobruk, which caused no damage, the situation throughout yesterday was quiet. Enemy air activity also was on a reduced scale. “Patrolling activities were continued in the frontier area, though no contact with the enemy was made.”
