PROBABLY SUNK
ITALIAN AUXILIARY CRUISER TORPEDOED BY BRITISH SUBMARINE. SHIP STOPPED & HOLE SEEN IN HER SIDE. LONDON, October 24. The Admiralty announced that an Italian armed auxiliary cruiser has been torpedoed by one of our submarines in the Central Mediterranean. After being hit the ship stopped and a large hole was seen in her side. She probably sank.
