LABOUR CONFERENCE
MEETING IN NEW YORK. BRITISH DELEGATES LEAVE . LISBON. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 22. It is reported from Lisbon that the British delegates to the International Labour Conference in New York on October 27 left by Clipper this morning. They include Mr Ralph Assheton, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour, and Sir Frederick Leggett, Government representative, Sir John Forbes Watson, employers’ representative, and Mr Joseph Hallsworth, workers’ representative. The Polish Government representative travelled with them.
