WAR PRISONERS

SOME 66,000 FROM ALL PARTS OF EMPIRE REGULAR VISITS TO CAMPS. MADE BY AMERICAN INSPECTORS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) RUGBY, October 21. The total number of prisoners of war in enemy hands from all parts of the Empire is about 66,000, stated the War Secretary, Captain H. D. R. Margesson, replying to a question in the House of Commons. He added that ten inspectors had been appointed by a protecting power (the United States) and that enemy camps were visited by these inspectors once in every six weeks.
