Railway Rolling Stock Sent to Iran SPEEDING FLOW OF SUPPLIES TO RUSSIA Australia is making a vital contribution towards the speeding up of Allied and American supplies to Russia. She is sending £1,000,000 worth of railway rolling stock to Iran, so that the transmission of supplies to Russia may be accelerated. This is one of the most important contributions to the war effort that Australia has made. The Federal Cabinet has decided to cut down the trans-continental services in order to send locomotives to Iran.
