LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY.

LAST NIGHT'S PRESENTATION.

The final play-reading of the season was put on last night by the Masterton Little Theatre Society, in the Country Women’s Club Room. A play in three acts, ‘‘The Case of the Frightened Lady,” by Edgar Wallace, was effectively read. The cast was as follows:—Sergeant Ferraby, Mr L. Pither; Sergeant Totty, Mr H. Mackenzie Douglas; Chief Inspector Tanner, Mr L. T. Daniell; Briggs, Kelvin, Mr V. Joseph; Lord Lebanon, Mr E. K. Eastwood; Gilder, Mr M. M. Simpson; Lady Lebanon, Mrs L. T. Daniell; messenger, Rawbane, Wilmot, Mr H. Robinson; Aisla Crane, Miss M. McLaren; stage directions, Brooks, sundry policemen, Mr H. H. Daniell.
