Frost in Masterton.

A frost of 6.8 degrees was registered in Masterton this morning. Art Club Meeting. A lecture of special interest will be given by Mr S. B. Maclennan, A.R.C.A., at the. Masterton Art Club’s meeting on Thursday evening, to which the public is cordially invited. There is no charge for admission. The lecture commences at 8 o’clock. There will be a short business meeting prior to the lecture. Railway Line Blocked. It is pot expected that a slip which blocks the Stratford-Okahukura railway line between Tahora and Tokirima will be cleared for a week. Expresses between Auckland and New Plymouth are travelling via Marton, but will be replaced on Wednesday by a railcar service to and from New Plymouth, connecting with . the Main Trunk expresses at Marton.
