STATE HOUSES
LET TO AIR STAFF MEMBERS DAIRY COMPANY’S PROTEST. POSITION IN BULLS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) 1 WANGANUI, October 11. Exception to the fact that all the State houses' built in Bulls had been let to members of the Ohakea R.N.Z.A.F. station staff, was taken in a letter to the Bulls Town Board from the secretary of the Rangitikei Co-operative Dairy Company, received at a meeting of the Town Board. The letter stated that the board of directors of the company had decided to bring before the Town Board’s notice the fact that the Government’s housing policy in Bulls was of no benefit to the townspeople because all the State houses had been let to the Air Force personnel. It was resolved to forward the letter to the Minister of Housing, supporting the company’s request for the erection of more State houses in Bulls.
