LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY
•■THE LATE CHRISTOPHER BEAN.”
The Little Theatre Society has taken the Opera House on Saturday and Monday, October 18 and 20, for the purpose of producing the “Late Christopher Bean,” a French comedy with an English background. Mr Kent Johnson is the producer and the leading parts are in the capable hands of Mr G. W. Morice, Mrs Jordan, Mrs Rich, Miss P. Shearer and Miss J. Hosking. Other parts are taken by Messrs A. M. Douglas. Keith Jaine, J. A. Kennedy and N. Flemming. The play is set in the home of a country doctor who some years before had sheltered for some 'time a poor artist who had died. By a turn of fortune the artist had achieved posthumous fame and the hunt was on for pictures that had been left. The box plan is at Messrs Steele and Bull’s premises and patrons are advised to book early.
