Medical Board Sittings.

Sittings of the Medical Board will be held in Masterton on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Removal of Parapet. A start has been made to remove the parapet on the Academy Building, Queen Street'. Following on the severe earthquake experienced in Masterton some years ago, cracks developed in the parapet and as a safety measure it has been decided to remove the ornamentation, which ~ is a style of architecture that is not favoured these days.
