BRITISH NOTE

REJECTED BY FINLAND

(Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 7. The Finnish Government has rejected the British Note, warning Finland that she would be treated as ah open ehemy if she persevered in her war against Russia. The Helsinki radio, announcing this, said Finland was now fighting only in self-defence and alleged that certain Finnish territory was still in Russian hands and was intended for use as bases for further attack against Finland.
