COSY THEATRE
“GALLANT SONS.” The change of programme at the Cosy Theatre tonight is a most attractive one and is headed by “Gallant Sons” and “Honolulu,” both pictures out of the ordinary and telling stories which must appeal to particular audiences. “Gallant Sons” is a type of picture which brings out the best acting of those who take part, while the scenery and effects are exceptionally good. The leading roles are taken by Jackie Cooper, Leo Gorcey, Gene Reynolds, and Bonita Granville, and this is a guarantee that the quality will be all that could be wished for. It is the story of fighting youngsters which goes straight to the heart.
“Honolulu” will also appeal as a picture produced for those who appreciate good acting and a subject which keeps them interested throughout. . It is a story of love, laughter and lilting melodies.
