LAST STRONGHOLD
BRITISH TROOPS CLOSING ON GONDAR. I FOLLOWING ON WOLCHEFIT SURRENDER. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, October 3. Following on the capture of the Wolchefit Pass and fortress, in Abyssinia, only one defended stronghold now remains between the British troops and Gondar. This is Voliach, about twelve miles north-east of Gondar.
