COAL & METAL SUPPLIES - REDUCED. SHORTAGES AND TRANSPORT DIFFICULTIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, October 1. The Vichy Government has announced an immediate and drastic reduction in the quantities of coal, iron and steel available to French industry, as a result of the inability of Belgium and Germany to continue deliveries of raw materials and increasing transport difficulties.
