RAIL SMASH IN CANADA TWO CARRIAGES FALL INTO RIVER. | NUMBER OF PEOPLE INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) OTTAWA, October 1. Two Pullman cars, in a .passenger train en route to Quebec.from Montreal, jumped the rails when cressing a bridge and fell into the shallow waters of the Maskinonge River. Early reports said that three persons were killed and a number injured. Among the seriously injured was Mr Maurice Dupre, a former minister of Mr Bennett’s Cabinet. Two cars wqre partly submerged.
