THE HOME GUARD (To the Editor.) Sir,—ln England the Home Guard has shown itself a most valuable part of the defence forces. Here in New Zealand with more and more of our young men going overseas, the Home Guard must be prepared to play a vital part. I am reminded of a song which was written about 30 years ago at Victoria College and sung to the tune of the Bridal March from Lohengrin. It might well be the song of the Home Guard.
