A Russian communique states: “Ships of the northern fleet sank two enemy transports! of 8000 tons and 5000 tons, and jooastal command aircraft and ihips of the Baltic fleet sank an snemy cruiser and an enemy destroyer and heavily damaged two othter destroyers. An enemy tanker of '6OOO tons was sunk in the Baltic sea. “Rain continues to fall on many parts of the front. Moscow has had its first fall of snow.” ;
