SHIELD WON BY NEW ZEALAND TEAM. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SUVA, September 27. The commander of the New Zealand troops here, Brigadier W. H. Cunningham, presented the trophies at the end of the Suva Rugby Union’s season. The brigade units won the Escott Shield for the 1941 competition and goal-kicking. The final European matches today resulted: New Zealand A defeated Suva A by 14 points to six. New Zealand B defeated Suva B by eight points to three.
