BRITISH AMBASSADORS
LORD HALIFAX RETURNING TO WASHINGTON. SIR SAMUEL HOARE IN LONDON. RUGBY, September 27. Viscount Halifax, who is on his way back to Washington to resume his Ambassadorial duties, was received in Lisbon today by the Portuguese Prime Minister, Dr. Salazar. Sir Samuel Hoare. British Ambassador to Spain, has arrived in London. Before leaving Lisbon he had an interview with Dr. Salazar in the presence of the British Ambassador to Portugal.
