OLD TIME DANCE

WAIRARAPA COLLEGE PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION. FUNCTION ON SATURDAY NIGHT. The Wairarapa College Assembly Hall was thronged with a gathering of over two hundred people on Saturday night when the College Parents’ Association held an old time dance. The function proved such a success that it was decided to hold another dance on October 11.

The music for the dancing was provided by Mrs V. J. Ashton’s orchestra (Carterton) and extras were played by Private E. C. Coddington. Mr W. R. Nicol carried out the duties of M.C. in a particularly capable manner and the proceedings were kept moving at a merry pace. Supper was served by the ladies’ committee.
