FEATHERSTON
EUCHRE PARTY IN AID OF CROQUET CLUB FUNDS. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very pleasant time was spent at the residence of Mrs White on Thursday when she held a euchre party in aid of the funds of the Featherston Croquet Club. Mrs Lynskey and Mi* Worsley were the card winners. Mrs Saunders, president of the club, thanked Mrs White for her hospitality. Personal. Mrs L. Tilly, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs H. Cundy, Western Lake Road, returned to her home in Dannevirke today. Parcels for Soldiers. A number of parents and willing helpers had a busy time at the Red Cross Society rooms yesterday afternoon when 70 parcels were packed ready for despatch to the local soldiers serving overseas.
