PRICE CONTROL
ADVOCATED IN UNITED STATES. TO PREVENT DISASTROUS INFLATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, September 26. Mr Donald Nelson, Federal Director of Priorities, testifying before the House Banking Committee today, said a Price Control Bill should be enacted at once to prevent “an inflationary period that will completely destroy us.” He said the entire priorities system must be changed to avoid national disaster and the destruction of small business men.
