BULL SALE AND SHOW

TO BE HELD AT FEILDING. ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9. The spring National dairy bull sale and show to be held by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., at the Feilding Showgrounds on Thursday, October 9 has drawn a record entry of 274 pedigree dairy bulls comprising 210 Jersey, 26 Friesians, 25 Shorthorns and 13 Ayrshires. Not only is the entry a record for numbers for this popular fixture, but the quality and butterfat backing of the animals is in keeping with the high standard of improvement of the stud dairy herds which are so widely represented. The sale should afford a splendid opportunity to stud breeders to acquire fresh blood, and to dairy farmers with grade herds, to secure bulls that will breed improved stock. The large entry will provide a splendid selection.
