DIAMOND WEDDING

MR & MRS R. KILMISTER. ■GATHERING IN MASTERTON YESTERDAY. Mr and Mrs Richard Kilmister, of Bannister Street, Masterton, celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary yesterday. Many letters and congratulatory telegrams were received, among which were messages from the Gover-nor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, and the Prime Minister, Mr P. Fraser. A family gathering was held to celebrate the occasion. ■ Members of the family are Mr W. Kilmister, Mesdames A. Billington and W. Thorley. One son was killed in the Great War, and one died at Winton. There are 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
