4. BRITISH AND RUSSIAN JOINT ORGANISATION PLANS. MEETING IN MOSCOW ARRANGED. (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) RUGBY, September 24. Following upon the proposal of the Trade Union Congress for the establishment of an Anglo-Soviet Trade Union Committee, an official reply has been received from the All-Russian Central Council of Trade Unions welcoming the proposal. The T.U.C. General Council, at its meeting today, received the message with great satisfaction and arrangements are in hand for the first meeting of the committee to take place in Moscow. The following T.U.C. representatives will participate: — Sir W. Citrine. Messrs F. Solstencroft, W. P. Allen and H. M. C. Harrison.
