POSTAL BALLOT RESULT. RETIRING OFFICERS RE-ELECTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The postal ballot for the election of the management committee of the Wellington, Taranaki, and Marlborough Clerical Workers’ Union, 'closed yesterday. The president, vice-presi-dent, and committee were re-elected. The voting was as follows: — President: Mr F. P. Walsh, 1351 elected; Mr R. M. Allan. 976; Mr B. A. Fortune. 162. Vice-president: Miss P. N. Dahl, 1447 (elected); Miss K. M. Atkins, 1038. Management committee: Mr H. R. Hill, 1485; Mr B. H. Etherington, 1486; Miss M. Calder, 1449; Mi- H. G. Harpham, 1430; Miss M. E. Guilfoyle, 1394 (all elected); Miss A. F. Boden, 995; Mr I. R. Daube. 983; Miss P. W. Cook, 970; Miss M. Kitching. 953; Miss E. Butzbach, 888; Miss M. Stirling, 200; Miss N. P. Shaw, 161.
All the candidates of the revision committee which sought the defeat of the retiring officers were rejected.
