Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington markets are quoted as follows: — Passion fruit, 12s to 22s a half-case; grapefruit, New Zealand, 7s to 14s a bushel case; lemons, Meyer, 13s to 16s 6d a half-case; tree tomatoes, 7s to 14s a half-case; mandarins, 12s to 23s a half-case. Tomatoes, hothouse, 3s 4d to 3s 5d a lb.; cucumbers, 12s to 19s dozen; green peas, Is 3d to Is 9d a lb.; asparagus, Is to Is 9d a bunch; pumpkins, triumble, 32s to 36s a sack; greys, 19s 6d to 26s a sack. Potatoes, 10s to 16s a cwt.; Nelson 4d to 4:;d a lb.; onions, 16s to 25s a cental bag; kumeras, 10s to 14s a sugarbag; cabbage, 8s to 17s a sack; cauliflowers. -9s to 20s a sack; lettuce, 8s to 20s 6d a case; cabbage, spring, 4s to 13s 9d a case; spinach, 12s to 27s Gd a case; silver beet, 4s to 8s 3d a case; leeks. Ils to 16s a case; parsnips, 6s to Us a case; swedes, 3s to 5s 9d a case; beetroot. 6s to 21s a case; celery, Auckland, 20s to 30s a case; carrots, 5s to 8s 6ct a case; rhubarb, 8s to 16s a dozen bunches.
