Mrs H. Rountree (Christchurch) visited Masterton at the weekend for the wedding. Mrs H. Askew (Christchurch) was a visitor to Masterton over the weekend for the Askew—Bell wedding. Mr and Mrs Vic Simpson (Wellington) were the guests of Mr and Mrs A. L. Askew, Lansdowne, for the Askew —Bell wedding. Misses D. Parkes, E. Whitta, N. Moriarty, M. Murch and P. Moriarty, of Pahiatua, were visitors to Carterton on Saturday for the Fredrickson Dwane wedding.

Lady Mabel Annesley, daughter of the fifth Earl of Annesley, is visiting Auckland and intends to make her home in New Zealand. She lived previously in Rathfriland, County Down, Ireland.

Miss Barbara Brown, Lance Corporal Wilkins, Private G. Wilson, Messrs Max Rountree (Christchurch), E. J. Askew (Wellington), and C. Askew (Palmerston North) were visitors to Masterton for the Askew—Bell wedding.

Mr and Mrs Neil K. Fisher, of Auckland, who were visitors to Masterton yesterday, left today for Wellington and Blenheim. Mrs Fisher was formerly Miss Joy de Lisle, daughter of Mi and Mrs E. W. de Lisle, of Remuera, and formerly of Masterton.
