VICE=REGAL VISIT
REQUESTS TO BUSINESS FIRMS. The Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, invites business houses to fly flags on Thursday, September 25, in honour of the official visit of the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall and Lady Newall. Mr Jordan also requests business firms to close from 2.0 p.m. to 3.15 p.m. to enable employees to attend the civic reception to be tendered to their Excellencies at the Municipal Hall.
