FILM SCREENING

VARIOUS WAR ACTIVITIES. An opportunity is to be given the general public of Masterton next Tuesday evening to .view a film screening sponsored by the Shell Co. of various phases of war time activities. The films, which will be shown in the Opera House, were very favourably received by members of the Home Guard and E.P.S., when they were shown at a special screening last month. Some new films have been added and no doubt these will be of interest tp those who may have seen the original programme. The screening is for adult audiences only, and a charge of 6d will be made for patriotic, funds. The programme to be presented next Tuesday is: “Fashions for Men,” “Incendiary Bomb,” “Wai’ and Order,’, “Young Veterans,” “White Battlefield,’ “Team Training and Rescue Work,” “It’s the Navy,” and “The Heart of Britain.” Mr H. H. Newton and his assistant, with the mobile film unit, will arrive in Masterton on Tuesday.
