MR MONTAGUE NORMAN
EXPECTED TO ANNOUNCE RESIGNATION. (Bj' Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, September 18. The “Daily Mail’s” financial correspondent says that the Governor of the Bank of England, Mr Montagu Norman, may announce his resignation at the bank’s annual meeting today. His friends believe that he would have resigned sooner but for the war.
