“IT’S LOVE I’M AFTER.” The current programme headed by “It’s Love I’m After,” will be finally shown tonight. The Cosy Theatre’s next feature attraction will be “Three Cheers For The Irish,” a warm-hearted, captivating story of the ups and downs in .the lives of a typical Irish-American family. Heading the cast are Priscilla Lane, Thomas Mitchell, Dennis Morgan and Alan Hale. “Three Cheers For The Irish” is a rollicking comedy of a retired New York policeman who is persuaded to run for Aiderman and learn that pounding a city beat is a much simpler task. Peter Casey, played by Thomas. Mitchell, is assisted in his election campaign by his three daughters who jump into the campaign with all the beauty they can muster. It will be shown tomorrow night. The efforts of a humane police officer, determined to segregate first offenders from the hardened criminal, is the theme of “Fugitive From A Prison Camp,” starring Jack Holt, which is the associate feature. Holt, as a twofisted sheriff, arrests a gang of young cijninals, headed by Jack Laßue. In the hideout he finds Phillip Terry, who has come to the gang’s headquarters to persuade one of its members, George Offerman, Junr., brother of his sweetheart, Marian Marsh, to give up his law-breaking friends.
