GIRLS’ CHOIR

“ONCE ABOARD THE LUGGER.” PRESENTATION ON SATURDAY NIGHT. It is anticipated that the public of Masterton will give generous support to the Wairarapa Interhouse girls' choir production, “Once Aboard the Lugger,” to be presented at the Opera House, Masterton, on Saturday and Monday nights. A bright entertainment has been arranged which promises to cater for all tastes. Mrs E. J. Rich is the producer and Mrs Miller Hope is in charge of the musical effects. Miss Enid Thompson reports that the ballets to be presented have reached a particularly high standard. Half the net proceeds are to be allocated to the fund to assist Sister Phyllis Matthews, who was severely injured when the Rangitane was attacked by a Nazi raider.
